ENG / Experience power, madness and introspection
Platinium Insanity is a piece designed for a selected single viewer, for 2 hours. The installation’s system allows the viewer to become invisible and wander among other people. The viewer is given the opportunity to act as a privileged, platinum class individual. He or she decides how to behave with others. Steal, smell, touch, take pictures, make fun of somebody or whatever he or she desires. He can also choose to help the others, give them something, pray for them.
The artist will stand on his side, as a conscience. Everything happening during this time will be kept as a secret between the viewer and the artist.
The viewer and the artist will then discuss what happened, what the viewer did or has chosen not to.
They will discuss about power, justice, privilege and desire, normality, political and technological systems.

Folie Platinium est une installation pour un seul spectateur sélectionné, pour deux heures. Le système de l’installation permet au spectateur d’être invisible parmi d’autres spectateurs. Le spectateur peut agir en privilégié et décider de son comportement. Il peut voler, toucher, sentir ou se moquer des autres. Il peut aussi les aider, leur donner quelquechose ou prier pour eux.
L’artiste est à son côté comme une conscience. Ce qui se passera restera secret.
Le spectateur et l’artiste auront par la suite une discussion sur ce qu’il s’est passé, ce que le spectateur a fait ou choisi de ne pas faire.
Ils discuterons de pouvoir, de justice, de privilèges et de désirs, de normalité et de systèmes.
